Sunday Blues

So I just had a few pics of me posted on Facebook, and I have to say they are TERRIBLE! Not that the person taking the pics did a bad job, but I look bloody awful. Puffy, fat, regrowth, double chins. Not good.

That said, this is what I had for dessert last night... (only one of the bowls) Choc Icecream, Choc mousse and choc chips. We felt like chocolate.

So I guess back into stepping up the exercise, being good with my eating again and back on the de-frumpyfying mission, cos I was not happy seeing those pictures!!

On a happier note, I had a pretty good weekend. A friends little boys 1st Birthday party yesterday, here's his birthday cake...

Had a friend over for dinner, dessert, pina coladas and to watch Burlesque. A great movie, but then I love movies like that, with awesome dancing and singing.

Had my first flea market stall this morning. I only made $28 profit, hubby made $75. Not bad for someone who only decided at the last minute that he wanted to join in. Here's all the stuff I was selling....

I'm going to the Papamoa market next weekend. I am going to try and knock out a couple of tutus and see if there is any interest. Must finish the other ones I'm making for friends first though!.

So that's my weekend. Lots of fun was had, back to being good again tomorrow though.

De-Frumpy-Fying - First steps

Soooo. I posted last night about how I feel like a fat frump and am going to do something about it. Today I got started on this. Only basic (and free) stuff. But I felt a little better.

Shaved legs
Exfoliated (made me feel thinner)
Wore some nice (and non-child stained) clothes
Moisturised my face
Wore mascara

So all stuff that cost me absolutamente nada. But still. Helped a little. Then I went shopping with the D tornado on a hunt for a lil table and chairs for him and cool De-Frumping accessories for me. I bought nothing. Except a ball for D. And a purple walrus for my littlest pet shop collection that I have been wanting forever. Judge me not my bloggy friends. I started collecting at Xmas time when my mum saw how excited I got over them while picking out one for a friends daughter. And so it began. Aren't they cute? You'll notice the new Walrus is missing. I think Dex may have stolen him, packaging and all to some secret place only he knows about. So this whole part of my post was a wast of time.

But I got my cool scarf yesterday. The first of many I am hoping. It's actually dark purple and silver, but the light isn't great in the photo. It's like a giant scrunchie, no scarf tying required, just wrap it around a couple of times.

I'm not mad. I just look like that cos I need to get my eyebrows done so badly. That will be Monday!

Have a fantabulous weekend!

Fat Loss Friday - 800g down, how about you?

Happy Fat Loss Friday!!

So my WII Fit board had flat batteries. AGAIN. So luckily last week I got all prepared and also started using my Tanita digital scales from my Training-to-be-a-Personal-Trainer days, pre baby and since chucked in a wardrobe never to be seen again.

According to them I have lost 800g, which I am STOKED about, cos I hurt my neck pretty badly last Tuesday and it is only just starting to come right. Over a week of crazy pain was not good at all.

So yeah, 800g without doing a whole lot and using my mostly immobile-ness as the perfect excuse to gobble and munch on all things unhealthy. Meh. My fat jeans feel a little looser today too. And as per last nights post, the Fat Jeans have to leave me very soon due to my de-frumpy-fying mission.

How did you go this week? Did you try anything new and did it work for you?

Have a great weekend!!

On a mission to de-frumpy-fy myself!

So today I decided. I feel like a fat frumpy blob. Ok I have felt that way for quite awhile. But today I bought myself an AWESOME scarf for winter (not the practical warm kind, the cool, just for looks kind. )

So together with Kelly from Diary of my So Called Interesting Life, we have decided to De-Frumpy-Fy ourselves. We aren't going to go out and spend thousands or anything, just jazz up our accessories, keep my eyebrows tidy, make my nails pretty instead of just long and manky, dye my hair again so it's not all stripey etc. Maybe even get it cut!! Shock horror!!

So, yeah. Losing a couple of kgs (ok 25-30) wouldn't go astray. Am working on that one but once we start on our way to baby #2, that aint gonna be my biggest priority. At least when I'm pregnant I won't look like I'm just fat. Well, I'm hoping anyway!

I will keep you posted on my de-frumpy-fying!
